Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Street Racing Kills (“SRK,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through streetracingkills.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

01Information We Collect

We collect information you provide through our forms — such as your name, email, phone number, organization, and message — when you contact us, request a speaker, volunteer, take the pledge, or apply for the scholarship.

When you donate or pay program fees, your payment is processed by a third-party provider (such as PayPal). SRK does not collect or store your full payment card details.

02How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to inquiries and speaker requests, administer our programs and scholarship, process donations and program fees, send updates you have requested, and improve our services. With your consent, we may also send newsletters and other marketing communications about our mission and events.

03The SRK Pledge

When you sign the SRK pledge, we keep a record of your signature so the pledge register is genuine and verifiable. That record includes the information you enter (name, email, and ZIP code if provided) together with technical details captured automatically at the moment of signing: the date and time, your IP address, your approximate location derived from it (city, region, and country), and your device and browser type.

We use this record solely to maintain the integrity of the pledge register and for aggregate statistics (for example, how many people in a region have taken the pledge). It is stored securely, is not sold or shared for marketing, and you may request its removal at any time using the contact details below.

04SMS / Text Messages

If you opt in, we may send text messages related to your inquiry or program participation. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for their own marketing.

05AI Assistant

Our website offers an AI chat assistant that answers questions about our programs. It is an automated assistant, not a member of our staff, and it cannot register you for a class, take payment, or access your student or case records.

When you send a message in the assistant, the text you type is transmitted to our AI provider, Anthropic PBC, which processes it in order to generate a reply. Please do not enter case numbers, dates of birth, payment details, or other sensitive personal information into the assistant — for anything specific to your situation, call us at (310) 303-0164 or email info@streetracingkills.org.

The assistant is not intended for children under 13. Conversations are held in your browser for the duration of your visit and are cleared when you close or reset the chat. We may review anonymized questions to improve our answers and our published FAQs.

The assistant provides general information only. It does not provide legal advice and cannot tell you what any particular court will accept or require.

06How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Site and our programs (for example, payment processing, email delivery, and class scheduling), and when required by law.

07Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

08Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us directly.

09Cookies & Analytics

We may use cookies and basic analytics to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.

10Children’s Privacy

Our programs serve teens through their schools and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. This includes our AI chat assistant, which is not intended for children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information through it, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
