Respect the Road Scholarship

Funding driver’s education for the next generation of safe drivers.

About the Scholarship

Driving Is
A Privilege.

Driver’s Ed
Shouldn’t Be.

Val’s Respect the Road Scholarship was created by SRK founder Lili Trujillo Puckett in memory of her daughter Valentina. As schools across the country cut driver’s education, many teens — especially foster youth — never get formal training before they hit the road.

The scholarship funds online driver’s education and behind-the-wheel lessons for teens who attend an SRK school or community event, complete the program requirements, and submit a reflective essay about reckless driving.
